This model represents an early form of marine petrol engine designed for inboard operation and is water cooled. Fuel was petrol and ignition was via low tension igniter. It is a conventional two stroke with crank case admission & transfer via cylinder ports. For the purpose of the model & to make it easy to build & operate it has been designed for glow plug ignition with the striker being replaced by the glow plug.

It is not a difficult engine to build but some may find lack of construction notes & exploded views challenging. These castings are foundry seconds, unfettled and still on the sprue (the turning spigot is damaged/not round).

Builds into a model approximately 140mm tall, 25mm bore, 25mm stroke. Aluminium castings :- body / crank case, crank case sides (2), intake tract, crank case covers (2) Piston (Ali), liner material (CI), flywheel casting (CI) & book of drawings. Ideal project for those with smaller machinery. Traditional drawings in metric & imperial. NB these are raw castings, the use of a lathe and other tooling will be required.
